Jack has the plan to get the job done in Washington:

Dear friend and neighbor, We all know our nation is facing serious challenges due to massive overspending. Since the election of President Obama in 2008, the Federal government has consistently run trillion dollar deficits and added many trillions of dollars to our national debt. In fact, in less than four years, President Obama has added more to our national debt than all of his predecessors from 1976 to 2001. It's a situation that has to stop. I decided to run for Congress from the new 11th District of Illinois because we deserve better from our leaders in Washington for all of our citizens, our children and grandchildren. And, quite frankly, both parties bear a share of the blame for years of high taxation and wasteful spending. As an elected official at the local and county levels, and as a Past President of the National Association of County Clerks and Recorders, I know first-hand how the laws passed by Congress affect us all. From our states and our cities and counties to our neighborhoods and homes, the bills passed by Congress have placed an increasing burden on America, and we need new voices and new leaders to stop "business as usual." First and foremost, we need to help people get back on their feet and reduce unemployment, with a special emphasis on taking care of our veterans. I am pro-life. I support a Balanced Budget Amendment, to force Congress to live within its means. I support term limits on Members of Congress, to put an end to the political "ruling class" in Washington. I support measures to end the yearly raid on Social Security and Medicare, to protect and ensure the benefits for our seniors. I believe Congress must live under the same laws that they pass on to all of us, and I believe we need to end the practice of House members and Senators profiting and getting rich off of trading on inside information they learn in the routine course of Congressional business. If you believe as I do, that we need strong, new voices in Washington to tackle the problems of the next few years, than I ask for your support and your vote in the upcoming Republican Primary election, on March 20th. Early voting begins on February 27th. Let's come together as Americans to restore our nation's greatness and our optimism for the future. May God richly bless you, and may God bless America. Sincerely, John A. "Jack" Cunningham P.S.
